Notebook sketches. This was drawn during Andrew McCauley’s critique or he was talking during a critique and I drew him. I don’t remember now. He was talking about alchemy anyway, but his neck isn’t really like that.

I remember thinking about the big-medium-small rule while I was drawing this. Maybe I should have paid more attention, but the critique had wound down to the you-should-try-this-dumb-idea-I-just-had place that thankfully doesn’t usually occur in illustration critiques.
